The CRX2 has all the advantages and features of a modern RC crawler. It is now available in an RTR version, including a long cab painted lexan body. The headlights are functional (including LEDs)!

Developing the CRX2, Hobbytech has started from scratch and designed a completely new and different product from its iconic CRX model. They made many changes based on feedback from users they met at RC model events and shows.

The CRX2 RTR's wheelbase is 313mm, but can be customized to choose from 4 dimensions (305, 313, 317 and 324mm). The axles are much more realistic now and have reinforced universal drive-shafts.

New steering blocks provide a 0° Ackermann steering angle. When turning, the wheels remain parallel, greatly improving the steering angle.

To prevent the Torque Twist effect (lifting of the wheels under acceleration), the new gearbox incorporates counter-rotation of the central drive shafts. This makes the CRX2 much more stable and smoother to drive.

The CRX2 RTR is equipped with 4 Wolf Shocks. These realistic shock absorbers with internal springs can be set in droop or semi-droop mode.

For even more realism, the CRX2 RTR comes with 106/36 mm Climber tires. This Hobbytech-designed tyre provides perfect traction on a wide variety of terrain.

Other significant modifications to the CRX2 include new suspension links, an adjustable battery mount and a new CMS plate (for mounting the steering servo to the chassis).

In terms of electronics, this RTR version features a 21kg waterproof steering servo, KN-BRUSH40-CRAWBT controller, 35T brushed motor and Konect KT3X radio set.
